Dorota Wellman is a versatile journalist with huge radio, TV and newspaper experience. Along with Marcin Prokop she hosts a morning show ‘Dzień Dobry TVN’ (‘Good Morning TVN) – together they make the most outstanding TV duo. Currently she is also an author of a column in ‘Wysokie Obcasy’ (‘High Heels’), a weekend supplement for ‘Gazeta Wyborcza’ (‘Electoral Newspaper’), and she is a creative director in the new women’s magazine ‘Well’.
She began her career in Solidarność Radio (Solidarity Radio). She was a newscaster and programme director in Radio Eska. She hosted radio broadcasts ‘Bulion’ in Radio Zet, and ‘TOK o’clock’ in Tok FM. She co-created many shows in TVP (Polish national television), i.a.: ‘Goniec’ (‘Messenger’), ‘Bohaterowie, skandaliści i inni’ (Heroes, Scandalmongers, and Others’), ‘Konsument’ (‘Consumer’), ‘Podróże z żartem’ (Journeys with Humour’), ‘Raport’ (‘Report’). She was one of the hosts of ‘Pytanie na śniadanie’ (‘A question for breakfast’) in TVP2 (Channel 2 of Polish national television).
